Accu-SPINA Machine Targets the Specific Location

Through the use of computerized technology, the Accu-SPINA machine can target the specific location that needs to be treated with minimal adverse effect on surrounding muscles. Each session last about 20 minutes, during which the machine will pull at a patient-specific weight.

This pulling causes a negative pressure within the disc allowing oxygen and nutrients necessary for healing to enter the space. Heat and massage may be included during the therapy session to assist in pain relief. Other therapy modalities such as core strengthening and stretches may be done before or after your session.

To maximize your results in using the Accu-SPINA system, it is recommended that each patient completes 20 sessions of IDD therapy. However, some patients may feel relief sooner. Sessions are typically done one to three days apart so as not to lose any progress made.

Studies have shown that there is an 86 percent success rate for patients who comply with their treatment protocol. Please call our office to set up an appointment time to discuss with our doctor your specific treatment plan to get you on the road to functioning more fully.
