ABOUT THE PRIMARY DOCTOR - PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR AT DMF CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTER
DR. D. TERRENCE FOSTER, MD, is a double board-certified medical doctor with more than thirty (30) years of practice. He is a best-selling, multiple award-winning author, a public speaker, and a philanthropist. Dr. Foster is also a consultant in Stress, Pain, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Management. In addition, he is a Principal Investigator for Clinical Research Trials and a certified Opioid Use Disorder Practitioner-Physician.
Dr. Foster graduated from The Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine.
He received a Bachelor of Science (honors) in chemistry from the University of the West Indies and a master's degree in chemistry at the City University of New York. His internship and medical training were completed at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein Hospital in New York.
His residency was at New York University Medical Center/Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. His fellowship was in electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG).
His acupuncture training was completed at the American College of Acupuncture (New York), Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Shanghai Medicine University (China).
Dr. Foster worked as an attending physician and clinical instructor at Emory University Hospital, Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital, and the Center for Rehab Medicine. He is a former medical director for The Rehabilitation Center at Southern Regional Health System in Riverdale, GA, where he served for ten years.
Author and Speaker
Dr. Foster is a best-selling, multi-award-winning author. He is the author or co-author of several scientific articles. His books include three best-selling books: The Stress Book: Forty-Plus Ways to Manage Stress & Enjoy Your Life, Foster’s Opioid Addiction Classification Status Guide, and The Opioid Epidemic Consumers & HealthCare Guide. His fourth book, The Little Stress Book, will be published in the Fall of 2026.
Dr. Foster is a Public Speaker, stress and pain management consultant, and Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant. He also previously hosted a radio show called The Doctor Show.
Dr. Foster is a strong supporter of many charitable organizations. He is a past president of the Morant Bay High School Alumni Association, Atlanta Chapter.
He is also the chairman and CEO of the D. Terrence Foster Foundation Inc, an organization that focuses on the development, enhancement, and promotion of healthcare and education globally, with specific emphasis on the underserved and less privileged of our society.

Dr. Foster holds medical staff privileges at several medical centers in Georgia. He is the medical director of the Center for Pain and Rehab Medicine in Stockbridge, GA, where his primary focus is interventional pain management, Personal injury, addiction medicine, Stress Management, and Clinical Research Trials.
